The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat publishes an annual end-of-the-year study of tall building trends, which usually focuses on data and statistics. For the 2019 Year in Review study, we wanted to produce more of a news story that broke down and discussed the narrative of the year’s trends, interspersed with data charts for visual emphasis. I managed the workflow of this project and designed the story, while one of my designers created the data page, and my developer built the web story. The 2019 study was a great improvement from previous studies with content, design, and reach. The old study can be seen at the end of this page and you can see the 2019 story here.
